About
I've spent my career in product marketing: figuring out how to explain a product, launching it, and getting people to use it. Most recently I led B2B product marketing at Instawork. Before that I was at Stripe, Clever, and Groupon.
At Instawork I started building with AI myself. I built lifecycle SMS agents, a handful of internal agents, and a Replit app for our account managers. I kept wanting to know how the pieces actually worked, and how far I could take it.
So I took a sabbatical to find out. For a few months I'm building things with AI every day and learning the mechanics underneath: how models, agents, and evaluations actually work, not just how to talk about them.
I'm not a trained engineer. I build with Claude Code, directing and reviewing, and I make myself read the code it writes. Most of what I've learned so far came from testing on real data and noticing when an answer sounds finished but isn't.
What's next
I'm open to product marketing roles, and I'm also testing whether a more technical AI role is the right next move: AI product management, technical product marketing, or applied AI. If you're working on something in that space, I'd like to hear about it.
Before tech
I studied journalism and Spanish at Butler University, where I was editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper.
